My dEepEsT FEAR...

My deepest fear is that i will fail my exam some day and injections... I heard that it is quite pain.. :D

My Greatest Fear

My greatest Fear

Well......

Is Miss Melwani

Highlight to see my fears, too secretive

Oviraptor

The first complete fossil of Oviraptor was discovered in Mongolia just a few feet from a nest of fossilized Protoceratops eggs. It is very likely that the Oviraptor was about to make a meal of the eggs when an angry adult Protoceratops caught it in the act and killed it. For that reason Oviraptor got its name, which means "egg thief."
Oviraptor was an unusual dinosaur. Measuring five to six feet long, it had a short head and a massive pair of toothless jaws shaped like a beak. With strong muscles in its mouth, Oviraptor must have had a powerful bite that was useful for breaking through hard surfaces, such as the eggs of other dinosaurs. Another interesting feature was a unique crest above Oviraptor's snout that was full of air passages and openings for its nose.

dinosaurs!

The dinosaurs were among the most successful animals ever to live on the Earth. Their reign lasted over 100 million years - and if birds evolved from the dinosaurs, then their descendents are still alive today.pls go 2 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/prehistoric_life/dinosaurs/ ok?

ALL ABOUT DINODINODINO !!! <(ROAR!)

Millions of years ago, long before there were any people, there were dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were one of several kinds of prehistoric reptiles that lived during the Mesozoic Era, the "Age of Reptiles."
Dinosaurs were reptiles and most hatched from eggs. No dinosaurs could fly and none lived in the water.
Plant-eating sauropods were the largest animals to ever walk on Earth - but blue whales are more massive than any of the dinosaurs were!
The largest dinosaurs were over 100 feet (30 m) long and up to 50 feet (15 m) tall (like Argentinosaurus, Seismosaurus, Ultrasauros, Brachiosaurus, and Supersaurus). The smallest dinosaurs, like Compsognathus, were about the size of a chicken. Most dinosaurs were in-between.
It is very difficult to figure out how the dinosaurs sounded, how they behaved, how they mated, what color they were, or even how to tell whether a fossil was male or female.
No one knows what color or patterns the dinosaurs were.
Most dinosaurs were plant-eaters (also called herbivores). For example, Triceratops was a plant-eating dinosaur. Some dinosaurs were meat-eaters (also called carnivores). For example, T. rex was a meat-eating dinosaur.
There were lots of different kinds of dinosaurs that lived at different times.
Some walked on two legs (they were bipedal), some walked on four (they were quadrupedal). Some could do both.
Some were speedy (like Velociraptor), and some were slow and lumbering (like Ankylosaurus).
Some were armor-plated, some had horns, crests, spikes, or frills.
Some had thick, bumpy skin, and some even had primitive feathers.
The dinosaurs dominated the Earth for over 165 million years during the Mesozoic Era, but mysteriously went extinct 65 million years ago. Paleontologists study their fossil remains to learn about the amazing prehistoric world of dinosaurs.
When the dinosaurs lived, the Earth's continents were jammed together into a supercontinent called Pangaea and the Earth was warmer than it is now.
The dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago, probably because of the environmental changes brought about by an asteroid hitting the Earth.
The dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period, which was a time of high volcanic and tectonic activity. There are a lot of theories why the extinction occurred. The most widely accepted theory is that an asteroid impact caused major climactic changes to which the dinosaurs couldn't adapt.
Dinosaurs probably live on today as the birds. All that's left of the dinosaurs are fossils and, perhaps, the birds. Dinosaur fossils have been found all over the world, maybe even near where you live!
Some dinosaurs were very bird-like and may be the ancestors of today's birds.
There are almost 500 described dinosaur genera and many more species. Every few months (sometimes weeks), new finds are unearthed.
Although dinosaurs' fossils have been known since at least 1818, the term dinosaur (deinos means terrifying; sauros means lizard) was coined by the English anatomist Sir Richard Owen in 1842. The only three dinosaurs known at the time were Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, and Hylaeosaurus, very large dinosaurs.
The oldest known dinosaur is Eoraptor, a meat-eater from about 228 million years ago.

MY DEEPEST FEAR......

mY dEePeSt FeAr is tospeak in front of acrod of people like to stand infront of the school and talk.

About the Triceratops

Triceratops was a rhinoceros-like dinosaur. It walked on four sturdy legs and had three horns on its face along with a large bony plate projecting from the back of its skull (a frill). The horns were possibly used in mating rivalry and rituals. It had a large skull, up to 10 feet (3 m) long, one of the largest skulls of any land animal ever discovered.Triceratops hatched from eggs.

Dinosaur Time!

For many decades, Brachiosaurus was the largest dinosaur known. It has since been discovered that a number of giant titanosaurians (Argentinosaurus, for example) surpassed Brachiosaurus in terms of sheer mass. More recently, another brachiosaurid, Sauroposeidon, has also been discovered; based on incomplete fossil evidence, it too is likely to have outweighed Brachiosaurus.
Brachiosaurus is often considered to be the largest dinosaur known from a relatively complete fossilized skeleton. However, the most complete specimens, including the Brachiosaurus in the Humboldt Museum of Berlin (excavated in Africa, the tallest mounted skeleton in the world), are members of the species B. brancai which some scientists consider to be part of a separate genus, Giraffatitan. The holotype material of the type species, B. altithorax. includes a sequence of seven posterior dorsal vertebrae, sacrum, proximal caudal vertebra, coracoid, humerus, femur and ribs: enough from which to estimate size. Based on a complete composite skeleton, Brachiosaurus attained 25 metres (82 feet) in length and was probably able to raise its head about 13 metres (42 ft) above ground level. Fragmentary material from larger specimens indicates that it could grow 15% longer than this. Such material includes an isolated fibula HMN XV2 1340 cm in length and the brachiosaurid scapulocoracoid referred to Ultrasauros.

Help... i dying

MY DEEPEST FEAR...

My deepest fear is to say a speech in front of a BIG crowd. I remember once in Primary 3, I had to go up to the stage in front of the whole school just to answer a question and got awarded with a notebook. It was very terrifying!!! This is called stage fright. Never mind, I'm quite used to it already. Got to go, bye bye... ^_^

Mars and moon

I had learnt that we might be going to mars or moon to live in future as Earth is getting crowded each day.

lesson on unit 9

i learnt that we might live in outer space in a few decades time. we might live on either Moon orMars.

Mars and moon in english

I learnt that we may be going to live in space in the future.Maybe on Mars or on the moon.I think it will be fun to live in space as we will get to see many things.I also learnt future tense and how to express future time.

fears???i also not really sure...i guess i am afraid if being alone it the dark...only in some places where i don't know... :P don't really have other fears... or maybe still have but i not so sure about it...haha

about Ankylosaurus

Ankylosaurus was a huge armored dinosaur, measuring about 25-35 feet (7.5-10.7 m) long, 6 feet (1.8 m) wide and 4 feet (1.2 m) tall; it weighed roughly 3-4 tons.
Its entire top side was heavily protected from carnivores with thick, oval plates embedded (fused) in its leathery skin, 2 rows of spikes along its body, large horns that projected from the back of the head, and a club-like tail. It even had bony plates as protection for its eyes. Only its under-belly was unplated. Flipping it over was the only way to wound it.
Ankylosaurus had four short legs (the rear legs were larger than the front legs), a short neck, and a wide skull with a tiny brain

Dinosaurs

The largest complete dinosaur we know of was Brachiosaurus ("arm lizard"); it reached 23 m in length and 12 m in height (about the length of two large school buses and the height of a four-story building). Fragmentary leg bones and vertebrae of even larger dinosaur species are known, but these skeletal remains are too incomplete to determine their exact size. Several of these (Argentinasaurus and Amphicoelias) might have been one and a half to two times larger than Brachiosaurus. The smallest dinosaurs were just slightly larger than a chicken; Compsognathus ("pretty jaw") was 1 m (3 ft) long and probably weighed about 2.5 kg (about 6.5 lb). These three dinosaur types all lived during the Jurassic Period. Mussaurus ("mouse lizard") was claimed as the smallest dinosaur, but it is now known to be the hatchling of a dinosaur type that was much larger than Compsognathus when fully grown. If birds are advanced dinosaurs, then the smallest dinosaur would be the hummingbird!

My ™greatest fear is get beaten by my dad . He hit like s¤ hard. ¨–¨

My fears

My fears

What i have learnt in English unit 9

Moon mars and many many more it is about the moon i mean 12 astronauts have been successful in reaching the moon they setteled down and need 2 rockets to transport them the rockets collect more foood and passengers the first colonists will have to mine valueables and build homes there will also be greenhouses to make food the next group of colonists will live in inflatable houses. the end about moooooonnnnnn

mars it is named after the god of war it is the fourth planet from the sun most of the air in mars is carbon dioxide.it is very cold at night

The end

My Greatest Fear

Well... talking about fears, I have two. They are the dark and pain. In the middle of the night, when I want to drink water or go to the toilet, I will run out of my room and on the living room lights and the kitchen light, in this way, I will feel safer. I am very scared about the injection next year as i heard that it was very very very painful...

Fear...

::My Deep3st F3arz::

Zzzz....I have a lot of fears but what I fear most is....pain. Why? My teeth very erm..how to say very croooooooooooooooooooooooooked..and well of course i have to do braces. I have many teeths to make straight and pluck out...I am SUPER AFRAID...I have to pluck out SOME my adult teeths so that there are more space for my other teeths to grow....SCARY. Aiy0 scared leh.........

What I have learnt in English Unit 9

I learnt that people might live on the Moon in the future as 12 astronauts had succeeded in going to the Moon.I would like to go to the Moon as we can enjoy less gravity there, but we will need to carry a oxygen tank as there are not enough oxygen on the Moon.

My fears

My greatest fear is that when my family members are all dead and they leave me alone and when they ignore me. My another fear is that when i am in school, some people like............ 'hate' me and say secrets behind my back and i fear that............... is going to take away my friends.

my deepest fear

well the truth is i don't what i fear i not scared of anyone or anything i know but maybe i'm scared of something i don't know

my DEEPEST fEaR.....

MY greatest fear is.........is people HACKING my accounts. its will make me angry(THE PERSON WILL DIE)so WArning to all dont do it. =if not u will have to fell my anger.

:::::The Moon:::::

The Moon, of course, has been known since prehistoric times. It is the second brightest object in the sky after the Sun. As the Moon orbits around the Earth once per month, the angle between the Earth, the Moon and the Sun changes; we see this as the cycle of the Moon's phases. The time between successive new moons is 29.5 days (709 hours), slightly different from the Moon's orbital period (measured against the stars) since the Earth moves a significant distance in its orbit around the Sun in that time.

My Greatest Fear..

Um...I fear HEIGHTS.How embarrassed to think that im afraid of heights..The previous post i post wrongly.Sry..When we went to the camp, we did some land activities...ALL heights....Arghh...No confidence at all..:P

My Greatest fear...

i can tell everyone, but i dont want.everyone too thanks to Miss Tay.er dont tell her.i'm scared of er ivan he anyhow whack people like me!

What i learnt in unit 9

I learnt about things in space and what we can do there and i am surely hoping that we can live in outer space but i will not go to outer space as its gonna be very dangerous and it will take so damn long!!!! I will also miss home..

Chat with u guys later!

And remember don't cry purposely!

My fears

I have a few fears but i wont say anything bb..........

Just kidding :P i am a little scared of ...FEAr itself...... as there are many types of fears, such as ghosts and blood, but dun worry, i wont mistake tomato sauce for a dead body's blood...hahahahahahaha

What I learnt in English Unit 9

I learnt that people might be able to live on mars in the future. People on Mars must use machines to recycle air and prevent the air from escaping. Scientists say that they will have to live in the spacecrafts that brought them there. The food they grow will have to be grown in greenhouses and people there will build inflatable houses.Actually, there are still many things about Mars but I cannot be possibly saying everthing! So, bye bye...

whats my deepest FEAR!!

Ok.I will go straight 2 the point.I'm afraid of ghosts, heights and errr.....exams.(only the person with a hyperfast robotic brains is not afraid.)Well, luckily, the zipline at the P5 camp lowered the fear rate a LITTLE.A little.Because of the fear of ghosts, i have to be with someone in the same room with me at night or else i'll freak out.Every single strange noise will make me jump.I also have to sleep facing the cupboard for fear that they appear from there and err you know.......I won't appear in school the next mornin'.Adios amigos!

Fears

I learnt more about the moon and mars, example, the temperature at the moon is high in the morning and low in the night. The lesson is very interesting just that it was noisy(because of Ang Wei Neng).

My greatest fears are :

1.Books will disappear in the world.

2.No money to buy books

3.No time to read books .

4.Failing my exams (I will kill myself).
5.Ghosts.

My Greatest Fear

My Greatest Fear is the Dark and Ghost! Everytime I am alone, I will feel the prescence of someone. When I'm bathing and trying to sleep, I'll think of something else to make me feel braver, sometimes I even sing.

My deepest fear!!!!

My deepest fear is about ghostThey are so scary and sometimes when i am alone like bathing or brushing my teeth i will feel that anything will happen to me and the somesort of ghost will appearSo i dont like to watch scary shows like ghost whisperer or super natural

What I've learnt from English Lessons

I've learnt many discoveries during my English lesson on the Moon & Mars. I also learnt how do people place man-made satellites in the Earth's orbit.

The Moon is our planet's (Earth) natural satellite. Scientists & many other people are contributing on how to bring people to the Moon to prevent overcrowding on Earth. So far, twelve astronauts have landed on the Moon. They have found out that the moon rocks are made of many elements such as metals & titanium. The first colonists will grow food on the moon first so when the second colonists arrive, they can eat the food straight away.

People are also trying to travel to Mars. However, they send robots instead as it is cheaper & might save human lives. They have found ice on Mars too. People will mine the ice & melt it to create water.

People might also want to travel to other planets or satellites but that is another story.

M deepest fear

My deepest fear is ................ sry can't tell u.It is private.bb.(anyway.....still can't tell u)=.=lll

mars and moon

it will be very difficult to move to the moon or even mars because there are many problems moving there like the lack of air and water .we will need to grow food too. robots will help us do this.

What I have learnt in English Unit 9

I have learnt that maybe next time, people may be living on Mars!! Won't that be interesting? Mars is smaller than Earth and also further away from the sun than Earth. People on Mars will have to recycle the air there with some special equipment and also keep the air from escaping. Scientists say that the people travelling to Mars will have to live in the spacecraft that brought them there. They will need a powerful rocket to push the spacecraft. They will have to grow their own food in greenhouses through moon dust. The people there will then build inflatable houses in underground cities. Actually, there are still alot of things about Mars but i can't be possibly saying everthing! So, bye bye...

What Is My Deepest FEAR

I fear ghosts , nightmares and many other "darkness" stuff and all that -.-". Everyone is scared of ghosts , well almost all...

O.O My Greatest fear......

My darkest fear...

If u wanna know, it something that I cannot stand and its to see someone cry....

Like i see someone cry, i will do things to make them not cry( sometimes only-- to people i know ) O.O sian i die liao u all know my greatest fear then next time i come to school everyone cry!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You better don't come and bug me and cry all about cause i will not pity you !( i know how to tell whether its on purpose or whatever! )

SO I REPEAT U BETTER NOT COME AND BUG ME AND CRY OUT LOUD!!!

My Deepest Fear = o = <(AHH!)

Haix Have Fun! My greatest fear is to get a 'FAIL' in exams! aHH! My studies now, some are good, some are bad... I scared this CA2 and SA2 i get 'FAIL" ! AHH! ->_<-

My deepest fear

Mt deepest fear is... ...actually,... ... i don't have any fears...hahaha...-_-lll

~I Have Discover/Learnt...~

I have learnt that living on moon would be very fun as people can jump six times higher on moon then on earth. However, I like to be in the mars, because living on mars is just like living in a big romm with the ' air-con' on . i like to be in a big room with the ' air-con' on! However, the bad thing is that people will easy fall ill... ^_^ -_- =.= '__' * _*

What I Learnt in English

I learnt that Moon is VERY cold at night and warm at day.Moon can be used by humans maybe in future...If used , we will live in underground cities.. how cool it will be.. But i still prefer Earth of course.. -_- And we also learnt about rockets, mars and outerspace..imagine to live in other places different from Earth..How will it be?

tHE pLaneTz

I have learn that in the future we can live in planets such as the moon, mars, and some others.(but we have to wait for quite long before this can happen)Imagine the feeling of living on the moon quite ccol.I hope that scientist can faster design faster rockets so that people can get to there faster>_<

What i learnt in English unit 9

I learnt that people could live on Mars, but of course that is in the future... People on Mars will have to recycle the air with a special equipment, and keep the air from escaping. Scientists said that they will live in the spacecraft that brought them there. They will need a rocket to push the spacecraft. The food they grow will have to be grown in greenhouses. There the people will build inflatable houses. There's more information about it but i cannot possibly remember everything! So, byebye.

About the Moon

I feel that the moon is a very exciting planet that can be researched on. I think that life on moon is a very good idea as it can let people know more about the planets. But one thing that people must be careful of is that they must recycle the air and they must also wear special equipments. Colonists on moon is a possible idea where people can live in but I think that they should build a colony where air is aouto regenerated.

I think they should create more robots for researching the moon rocks and explore the moon. If the moon really turns into a space city, I wish I could be the first to live on the moon. :)

:.:.:My Darkest Fears:.:.:

My darkest fear is fear itself..........
fear for me can come in many forms
such as GHOSTS and darkness.......

About the moon

Life on the moon may be possible in the near future. 2 rockets will be needed to escort people to the moon and back.Moon rocks are made of the elements such the metals iron and titanium. The first colony of people will have to live in the sapcecraft that brought them there. Then, they will focus on buliding cities.Food will be obtained by buliding greenhouses and the food is made from moon soil.tourists will find the moon a good place to visit because of the low gravity effects. Life on the moon will be difficult at first .

What have I learnt in English Unit 9

I have learnt that the scienctists are planning on making Mars a place to live for the future people. The people living there would enjoy the effects of low gravity.People there will have to recycle the air with an equipment. They will also have to keep the air from escaping. The first colony to Mars will be the robots. The people travelling to Mars will live in the spacecraft that brought them there. The people will then live in inflatable houses in underground cities. They will have to grow food in greenhouses through moon dust. There are alot more information but I can't list everything.

News Article

SINGAPORE : A woman who died after giving birth to twins had succumbed to Disseminated Intra-vascular Coagulopathy (DIVC), an acute blood coagulation problem arising from massive bleeding and transfusion. In a statement, a Raffles Hospital spokesman said 44-year-old Madam Swee Lay Kuan - who had a twin pregnancy - was admitted on July 5 for bleeding. This was a result of a low-lying placenta (Placenta Praevia). While in the ward, she continued to have bleeding. As there was a continuing threat of premature labour, and in the interests of the twins' safety, Madam Swee was scheduled for Caesarean section on July 7. During surgery, massive bleeding was encountered and emergency blood transfusion was immediately started. The hospital obtained further units of blood from the Centre for Transfusion Medicine (CTM). The spokesman added that as is customary in cases like this, relatives and well-wishers were requested to assist in replenishing of the stocks at CTM. Madam Swee was given large amounts of blood and blood products while she was in the Intensive Care Unit. But she developed and subsequently succumbed to DIVC, an acute blood coagulation problem. The Bloodbank@HSA said blood is provided to all patients at all times, based on clinical needs. And all bleeding emergencies are given first priority. Madam Swee's family had suspected that she died because the hospital did not have enough blood in its supply. According to the family, hospital staff had told them that its blood supply was running low. Madam Swee's husband, Jason Low, said a hospital staff told him that a request for more blood would have to be approved by higher authorities. And if the family wanted more blood, they would have to round up others to donate some at the blood bank. So on Sunday morning (8 July), about 200 of their relatives and friends turned up to donate blood at the blood bank. And the family said blood was released after that. But Madam Swee died that night. Her death certificate states that she died of cardio-respiratory failure, pending an investigation. Her family is appreciative of the hard work put in by hospital staff, but they felt that the process of withdrawing blood was too slow. In response, the Bloodbank@HSA said all requests for blood and blood products for Madam Swee were fully supported. And that the supply of blood is not dependant on replacement donation. Every hospital holds units of emergency blood which can be given to patients immediately during any bleeding emergency. If there is sudden, unanticipated, massive bleeding emergency, the hospital will send a sample of the patient's blood to the Bloodbank for group and cross matching. The blood is then issued to the hospital porter immediately after cross matching, which can be processed within 30 minutes.

News Article...

SHANGHAI, China - Chinese gymnast Wang Yan is making a "truly miraculous" recovery after breaking her neck in a horrific fall at last month's national championships and has regained some ability to move her arm and legs, according to newspaper reports Thursday.
Wang, 16, fell on her head on June 10 while performing a routine on the uneven bars at the national titles in Shanghai, a key test ahead of next year's Beijing Summer Olympics.
Her second and third vertebrae were fractured, an injury that doctors told newspapers results in death in 98.5 percent of cases.
However, just weeks later, Wang has been moved out of intensive care at Shanghai's No. 6 People's Hospital and is able to lift her legs and right arm above her body, the Liberation Daily newspaper reported.
"Those on the scene were pleasantly surprised. To recover to this level is truly miraculous," the paper said.
Doctors operated June 19 to repair the fractures and have ordered a three-month program of six hours of daily physical rehabilitation exercises and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which forces more oxygen into the bloodstream and is believed to speed recovery of chronic injuries.
"She has managed to conquer the most dangerous period," Dr. Tan Shensheng told the Shanghai Daily.
Wang's injury is similar to one suffered by Chinese gymnast Sang Lan at the 1998 Goodwill Games in New York. Sang broke her neck making a practice vault and is confined to a wheelchair.
Just days after Wang's injury, national team volleyball player Tang Miao broke his neck crashing into a barrier as he was trying to keep a ball from going out of bounds in a match in St. Petersburg, Russia.
